A simple yet VERY astute observation … something i haven't been concious about until you mentioned it. Makes me wonder why that is?! Why does a touch-screen or multi-touchscreen smartphone have to NOT have a dedicated camera button?!
Most smartphone platforms remember which home screen you've left off before launching an application. I only have 3 on my IP4 yet I know of MANY users on both iOS & Android having 6+ and swiping then tapping on camera takes LONGER to launch the camera app than a simple dedicated button. Weird.

I'm very disappointed now that
doesn't try to keep up with this... in Play I think they were forced duo to the Play other buttons design ( even thought I think they can manage a dual function button ).. but for a device like this... I wonder which excuse
is giving.. reducing cost ??
