hello,
i was wondering if anybody could/would answer my queries as i would like to have this nearly excellent phone operate as intend.
1. when i set an alarm, it doesn't inform you by keeping the alarm checked nor does the alarm bell turn gold - Does anybody else experience this?
2. can anybody "move to" sent txt messages as i can "move to" inbox sms to desired folder - feature doesn't exist, but hope a work around exists!!
3. When you back up, what does the "Settings" option actually back-up as not seen anything in orange or SE user guide.

i'm also a proud owner of one of these babys but still got a thing i would like to change:
how can you animate the wallpapers? they are animated gifs but are not animated when i put them as wallpapers. nothing moves!
when i select them as screensaver they are animated. i would love to have a living background.
the other thing is animated gifs as contact-pics. they are not animated and have an ugly white background when the background is supposed to be colorless.
is it possible to "activate" them in some way?

The w950 already has many of the features the m600 and p990 are only getting now. eg the usb fast file transfer thing.
so give it a month or two.

-Maybe a little more stabile video player.
-Animated wallpapers.
The changelog of the new w850 fw claim that the music volume is louder and clearer, maybe they will do this on the w950.

i managed to get an animated wallpaper - made it myself with 4 images saved as animated gif. 20 images seemed to make it go mad and not work.
had to get replacement handset as bloody alarm would go off everyday at 0630, and the function to disable didn't exist - so not able to test at mo
will look for my gif and double check it and upload somewhere if people want. it is fhm magazine art.
[edit]i lied. it didn't work, but i'm positive it used to, though a master reset may have changed it so it no longer works[/edit]
