i dont really like this iphone anymore, only had it a day. The texting is sooo annoying, can't text with phone under the table or while driving lol. No seriouslly, i can't get used to, and don't like touch screen buttons, i prefer the buttons on my N73 and the trusty joystick. Yourtube is good on the iphone though, however thats the only good thing about it. But I can get that on N95 8GIG etc, and loads more applications, i prefer buttons on my phone, thats how i like it lol. Even when the s60 touch comes out, i doubt i would go for it. I am going to be getting the N95 8GIG or anything better, with buttons from Nokia when my upgrade is due in April
Didn't you watch The Gadget show last week ?
most of us saw it... and to be quite honest the texting method on the phone put me right off, they were also saying it had a not a good camera I totally disagree with that as ive seen H.Cops thread
the N95 8GB isn't out on 02 I asked today about it and they didn't even know when or if they'd have it currentley Vodafone have it..
Ive left 02 today and im going with Vodafone,
can't afford the N95 8GB though it's a bit pricey atm lmao!
Im totally stressed out after 2 calls to 02 today requesting my PAC Code read my thread in General for details if your bored lol

Then again if i buy one of ebay ill need to unlock it again when I update to 1.1.2 right? So am i not better off just buying it from the shops for 270 and then getting it unlocked myself.
Does anyone know of any people/places that have been unlocking iphones so far around London that I could go to. Id like to try it myself (when the 1.1.2 unlock becomes available but dont want to risk messing it up)
There are no unlocking solutions for iPhones with v1.1.2. No doubt as soon as the handset/firmware gets released, there will be people beavering away at solutions.

Well the things i have noticed are;
1. iTunes music store icon on the home screen.
2. Contacts option in settings which gives you the following options;
Sort Order
Display Order
3. Within settings under general is home button which allows you to double click to go to home, phone favorites or iPod and also an option to show iPod controls when playing music.
4. Under iPod in settings there is a video and TV out options to start playing video from beginning or where left off. TV Out has widescreen and TV signal, PAL & NTSC.
Can't say i've noticed much else, although there is probably more. It isn't anything major apart from the iTunes music store. I only updated because of that.

Is it true that once you have unlocked it, simply connecting to itunes with an internet connection will lock the phone back up?

No, only if you update the firmware, but it asks you if you want to do this, just press no. You do not have to upgrade the firmware at all.
