hey guys,
I own a p990i which is a nice phone except some issues especially music player sound quality. However, I'm thinking on switching to w950i. Is it worth doing ? Also, is that difference in screen sizes so significant ?

Hi mate, i hav n use both,if u want 2 swap due 2 firmware instabilities, id say b patient. Not worth tht much unless u r a walkman fans. I miss the qwerty on my p990, the screen size really matters, though i find tht sharpness is cumin w950 way n its flat!

I noticed the beeps too ! I tried everything but i can't remove it.
(Format, Restart, Take out the battery Etc.)
Maybe we will get the new firmware soon (I hope)...

Hi,
Got a hold of my w950i a couple of weeks ago and Im very satisified with it.
Have noticed though that the to buttons on the left side of the phone, volume control- and play/stop- buttons arent affected by the keypad-lock. Which in turn can make the phone start playing loudly in my pocket. I minor thing, but still annoying. Anyone know how to fix this?

A question for W950 owners. Has anyone tried playing m4a files encoded with Media Encoder using Nero? My P990 doesn't manage to play these files (but it recognises them as music files) & I'm thinking of switching.
@Mr Nash: If your hands are slipping of the cover then I suggest washing your hands with soap and drying them, then immediately try to open the cover, eventually it will loosen and you'll have no more trouble opening it.
