Re Nero files, my w950 played them absolutely fine but I found the actual encoding process created occasional short skips in the majority of files. Initially I thought this was the phone but same on PC.
I then encoded using standard winamp to eaac+ format. This worked perfectly. No skips and decent quality, small size.

I hardly use it - the touchscreen keyboard works very well. When I have used it, I've found the keys quite easy to use, once I got used to it being different to the usual style.

Hi all,
I've got mine today, it's voda unlocked. Recently got rid of p990i to buy w950i and I'm happy so far. Works a lot faster than p990i(on previous fw) Everything is alright apart from music player volume (EU limitation) but never mind - guys from seunlock.co.uk are working on it !!!
BTW is there any real improvements in new fw for w950i, sorry if this was discussed before

I just sent my W950i for reflashing to SEunlock for a generic1 FW with no volume limiter and I'll be the happiest man in the world..and that was a decision to make..
I live in Greece, so I have to wait for a week..
I hope these guys will come up with a volume patch, just like gopod for the ipod..
They'll give to everyone what they really bought!
