It's weird but actually, I want SE to take their time developing the next fw so that they can really address to all the issues effectively and successfully. I don't mind if it would take them a few more months as long as it becomes a complete device at the end of the day. SE, take your time, but use it well and for God's sake you have a reputation at stake (or should I say no more reputation at stake?) so get it right this time dammit. If you've already decided to throw it all away and come up with another bug-rich fw, then release it now already!!

Sounds good, but SE havs prooven that more time won't help. They already take around 2 month to 'just fix bugs and malfunctions', and don't implement new features and show that this is not enough. Last time took 2 month to fix the alarm screwup. This time will take 2 month to fix the space bar screwup. And those are really not bugs but features they screwed up while "working" on their current bug ridden firmware.
But it doesn't hurt to wish.... it just hurts when the wish won't come true!

So the question is, is SE happy that they have fixed these two problems and they are on vacation now and will release that fw when they return? Or are they actively working on the fw trying to fix as many of the bugs from the wiki as they can? I'm inclined rather closely to believe the first option.
The events since I got the P990 have taken out the will to even wish for good things when SE and P990 are in the same sentence...
And...New fw out for P990 and first testers say that the only thing SE did was copy/paste the code for the two bugs from R5 and sleep for over a month before releasing as a new fw...
