i can't do nothing special for the k550i since i work by trial & error and i don't have a k550i to test with, i have done something special with the k800 camdrivers cause i have a k800 to experment with. anyway the k550i ain't never gonna take really nice pictures like a k800i. And which dickhead creates a camdriver and says no1 can borrow code from it?????

Yes, number 1, I understand what you think.
And by the way, thanks you VERY much for helping us with
all the work you have done. I really appreciate it.
Especially because you do no own a K550, thats just great.
So dont bother a lot, and just take a look at my new stable code,
the code modification is very simple, and of course you can borrow it :
VR_NORMAL_MODE_FR=30; // HERE
VR_NIGHT_MODE_FR=1E; // HERE
seq_set_prop_7_1= $"Arthur_property_7_1"
#SET_REG(08,28) // HERE
#CHANGE_MODE(34,01);
seq_set_prop_8_0 = #COM_EVENT(03,3C); // HERE

i haven't made any more k550i drivers cos i've run out of ideas, my k770 whitebalance didn't work well, and i don't think the k850i settings r gonna work.

run out of ideas ?
here are some !
- linear zoom
- manual choice of shutter speed
- manual choice of ISO
- writing a PC software to customize camdriver.dat
- understand why some people got white line bug
- low light improvement (go on with raidersky work)
and there's a lot more to do...
People dont foget to always take a look on FIRST PAGE
to see what is new (today, Chris "release e" stable 24 fps)

zoom i could probley 16x but i can't cause i havn't got a k550i so i can't do trial & error
manual choice of shutter speed- i'm not that clever
manual choice of ISO- again i'm not that clever
writing a PC software to customize camdriver.dat- i could easily explain how to mod a camdriver but i can't creat pc software
- low light improvement (go on with raidersky work)- u already got a EM mode.

"u already got a EM mode."
Sure, but it's quite buggy
(sometimes work, sometimes not, and sometimes crash camera)
about linear zoom, it has already been done with K750 (if i remember right),
but not for K550 (i insist on "linear")
cheers

i have no idea wot the difference between linear zoom and zoom is,
and would u prefer a noise filter to EM mode, the noise filter does get a bit too powerful at night so u need to increase exposure to +2.0 when using at night or in very dark places

waste of time, i already did one. nobody decided to make small changes in code to adapt driver to software and allow users to make his own modifications. the project died
