@bobafett
The r320 served me very well for two years, it was well ahead of everything else that was available at the time, and only lacks bluetooth and gprs when compared with the 'main' business phones of today like the no kias 6310i.. which is cr@p btw

The r520 was a very nice upgrade to it, and although a bit chunky, very robust - it survived a heck of a lot as my work phone!

The T39 is for me still one of the best phones ever, sleek, unique, slim, feature packed and very reliable.. I like the t68, but find the i's colour scheme a little fisher price for my liking.. but both were certainly nothing short of revolutionary.

My MC218 after being my trusted pda for many years has finally been superceded by my p900.. which has also replaced my t610.. however to call between them all as 'which is best' is hard, as they all are totally differnet handsets.. my heart will always lie with my t39 though, the 'last true ///'

Morning :-) @driveforvard I also had r320 for more than two years and it served me really great. It was a brick but it was far ahead any phone on the market when it came out. @all guys on this thread How old are you if its not a secret? ;-) This message was posted from a T68i

That was from a post about the R380. The R380 was announced in fall 2000 @ Comdex am I right (quick web search)?

Does it mean anything to you that by that time Nokia had announced 4 hugely succesfuly smartphones? The colour screen, Symbian-powered 9210 would follow in November 2000.

1996: 9000 (GEOS)
1997: 9000i (software upgrade)
1998: 9110 (still GEOS)
1999: 9110i (software upgrade)

Just sounded a little wrong to my ear.
