The only problem with those specs is the xperia ray is exactly that unless we're talking a 3MP camera.

A new updated Xperia Home Launcher is coming with the next update ( which is supposed to be 2.3.4 )

Changes includes
1- A new ‘Theme’ function in settings (although this is not yet active).
2- Changes to the app drawer and widget overview. The app drawer now includes a button on the bottom right that allows you to uninstall apps directly.
3- The Widget overview now has a neat touch where widgets float around, also when you shake the phone the widgets fly over the screen.
4- Some other testers ( from se4m.com ) reports faster overall experience on most parts..

We have tested this on a Xperia X10, Xperia arc and PLAY and it seems to work without any problems.

BTW, the launcher is already leaked, you can grap the apk from here...

They really need to introduce auto rotate on the home screens. Hopefully it will come on all new phones.

I don't know whether you have seen this, but the "new" home screen on the pictures above is the same one as the one on Xperia ray - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG4wbN6GUJI , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59BIOP0-VIA&feature=related ( 1:47 ). High quality picture:

And it looks a bit different than the stock Arc/Neo's one:

You can see that the rectangles, showing the number of pages, have changed. And the bottom bar has become darker. And the background waves of the music and media widgets have changed.

And one more thing I noticed - look at this video from CES 2011 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0G9LgFarsU. At 1:41 we have a very good view of the screen. There I can see, that the music widget has a different play/next/forward buttons, similar to the one in the official photos - http://techno-mobile.eu/files/products/1267.jpg . But later they changed them to a more simple ones, like on the two pictures above. Why? The original look better.

I think the new buttons look better - i.e. more polished.

The interface has enough faux 3D as it is...
