Its weird that thwe power buton is on the side of the phone, unlike any other Ericsson phone and unlike the R250s.

good point, now that u mentioned it, checked it too. well, i am afraid we ll never know the real reason for it, but acording the special features and way of usage of r250, maybe it was a kind of "security" option...
