Can anyone help. This is my first time on the forum so i've probably posted this in the wrong area. I have just got a P910i which i think is great. It was locked to Vodafone. I got the unlock code from them and am now using my O2 sim card. I cannot alter the Vodafone MMs settings as it says its a read only file. Will i have to have the phone de-regulised ? and if so, how do i go about it. As it stands at the moment,i can send sms messages but not MMS.

I upgraded my p900 yesterday to p910i (using fighter and the flash files named P910u ) and i want to post some answers, everything was tested by me and probably posted already but is good to be sure! So....
1) bluetooth works fine with any bluetooth phone, sending and recieving, pairing, etc. Tested with t610, t630, k700, p900, p800, SX1, Nokia 3650, 6600, 6230, ngage qd...so i think there are no probs with this part.
2) bluetooth works fine with PC. Sending and recieving, Dial-up Networking via bluetooth modem (with gprs or csd account), VNC via BT, audio gateway, syncronization, OBEX file transfer, etc
3)Back up and restore via sync station works ok.
4) IMEI doesnt change
5) Screen doesnt flicker( some users said that is flickering in 10% of converted phones!!!!!)
6) CAR 100 works great!
7) GPS bluetooth reciever works ok
Dont have any bt headset to test, but i`ll try to find a HBH, Jabra and Plantronics(from my friends) and post the results here, but we know that is not working with some of them.
9)the phone now...at first is a little slow, but format internal disk and will be ok. After power on, with sman in autostart, and no apps running except sman, i have about 39-40% of memory free (as shown in Sman), compared with 43-45(depending on theme installed) on regular p900.
10) internal browser is better, we all know the improvements
11)The phone seems to be a little faster!!!!! or is just my impression!
12) Copying from/to memory stick seems to be faster too....but maybe i`m wrong!
13)memory stick duo pro works ok
14) in service menu, at display test, now i have all the colour tests! GREAT!
15) New icons for apps are great also
16) When flip open, the keys are not working (on p900 version you can press option key for menu in apps, etc)

no one is going to send you flash files because you need fighter to use them, i am assuming you dont have fighter as if you did you would know where to get the files from.

Thanks for all the info as it answered most of my questions. Can you just check that Bluetooth works with BT headsets as I rely on this a lot.
Also on point 16), what do you mean that buttons don't work in flip open mode, which buttons exactly?
PS. Forgot to ask about the quality of the pics taken by the camera. I ave compared a P910 to a P900 and the quality of the pictures is definitely better on the P910 - more details and better contrast. Have you noticed this on your upgraded P900?

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the unofficial word is that the bluetooth bug in the conversion cannot be fixed due to the different BT hardware in the p910. Ohwell i will still live in hope though.

pictures have the same quality as before, video player is better, flip buttons dont work in flip open mode.
bt games are working! cross platform. Tested with 6600 and p900! MGS vr pool 2 and kartin work ok. Also any bt game!

Bluetooth works perfectly for everything but headsets. I can pair with Jabra 250 but it just disconnects when I try to make a call.
