Looking at the line of SE smartphones, it is clear that they have dropped the 3 button silver curve at the bottom of the handset to two touch buttons and a physical home one. Do you think this will be the new style of their phones?
Yeap I've noticed that, and I hate it... I just hate soft keys
I actually prefer them if I'm honest, when your playing around it's kind of annoying to have to press a hardware button, whereas a touch button is like its still within the touch screen experience if you know what I mean...

It's also better interms of hygiene and the handsets life, the fewer hardware buttons the less likely they are going to get worn and eventually stop working, and you don't get dirt problem which goes in the gap around the buttons

i used defy.. it eases the navigation with 4 capacity buttons.
when use touch screen combined with hard keys for navigation i really find uncomfortable ..
i strongly suggest SE to use capacitive buttons.

I like the newer Xperia button arrangement; it's still nice to have at least one hard button on the front.

I think in Ice Cream Sandwich the buttons will go anyway, at least on the tablets. The buttons move as you shift from portrait to landscape.

HTC with Beats will be so amazing, every music video will feature a HTC Beats phone for sure, way more fashionable than iPhone. Surely its time for a high end Walkman?
