The R320 chrome is a limited colour version which has just made for trying out materils and colours. At the shop in Cologne there is also a SH888 designversion in light blue. They are not selfpainted!
My cellular life started 1994 with a E-Plus Surf. That is the providerversion of Motorola flare in light green. But it was really cruel. Therefor I looked out for something better and got a PH337. Wonderful handset. Small and powerfull. I was astonished about the good work and wanted to know more about this company.
Since then I tryed out many different brands but always came back to ericsson.
I'm trying to charge the batteries periodicly but often forget it. So I always have to revive some batteries with external power. So there are some batt which are very weak but also good as new ones.
For my GS18 and GO118 I have refilled the batterycover with new cells. Now I have 2000mAh batteries for these handsets. *bg*

I am actuell selling on ebay a T29s with new cover, blue R310s R8A hardware made in Malaysia and boxed 788e. Just look out for tigerente_de . Also 2 unused BHC-10 and a used but boxed ICR-11 outdoor case for R310s are waiting for a new owner.

Actually i have never had problems finding batteries for older models?! Well, maybe phones like GH198 and such, but for almost all other models i have managed to find batteries, even new ones in sealed OEM package.

The GPRS-R320 wasn't a fake picture. I have seen it in some Ericsson press releases .
AND I think three years ago, there has been sold one at ebay. But sadly I haven't got it.

Pls note Li-Ion/Poly chemistry is different to Nicad/NiMH.
Lithium rechargeable batteries start ageing the minute they are made,
so after about 18-24mths shelflife they are lousy even if brandnew NIB.
I am currently using T28/T39 (I love their size format!!) and
today own heaps of their original slimline 500/600mAh batteries.
(Yes I stocked up on a few when I bought my first-batch T28s...)
It don't seem to matter how often they're charged or if just left unused
(charged up every 3 mths; Lithiums self-discharge pretty rapidly),
they're all just about as crap as the others.
I'm very wary of buying any new-boxed Eric batteries now...
They're all at least 3+ yrs old on the shelf - pkging got /// logo.
I might try some clone China batts soon, they should be fresher mfg.
