smart has ntt docomo as investor; i dont think smart will be using imode, as all their infrastructure are on gsm/umts, unless they will be investing another set of equipments.
dont believe all the hype of smart... 55% are all bullsh
kesyo they tested 3g na raw since 2000, eh there's no camera equip 3g phone at that time.. what they used was 2 computer w/ webcam and wireless connection...
kesyo they were awarded w/the best spectrum on 2100, faster data, clearer calls... eh all spectrums above 2100 are the same whether you are on the lower 2100 or upper 2100
kesyo mvp watched manny pacquiao fight on his phone, eh ako i watched it on my psp eh

Then I would assume that the bullsh*t comes from the PDLT side of the partnership.

jepaz, whoah easy lang bro-

i thought i read somewhere
here that Globe got the license to operate (or rather applied for ahead of the competition. i cant exactly remember) and first got the 3G word out, but Smart rolled out the technology in production first. Tas narinig ko lang din from our outsourced network techs (from Innove/Globe, ironically) na all-out na Smart 3G in MM, while Globe's is still in testing.
