@c96sthl - as far as i know arima is not only developing but also producing. so the story makes sense after all - developed by sagem, produced by arima.
@se_dude - read again, he didn't predict it to make huge sales. his point was that a low end phone always generates profit, no matter how it sucks. but currently se isn't even able to get such a phone out of the door without problems, so now they even lose money with a low-end device.

synn - you need to keep in mind that sony ericsson was financially supported heavily from both sony and ericsson this year. its just logical that both companies won't continue the journey if there is no success in the near future. i dare to say it, but sony could do it also without ericsson.

all the revolutionary technologies comes from Sony , not ericsson .. Cameras , Screens , etc ..
lol the only good thing we saw from Ericsson is U8500

i don't think that this should be discussed here, because its pure speculation
but either-way, i don't think that ericsson needs a consumer devision - sony does

thats part of the problem, those technologies aren't revolutionary in anyways and most of the times they are not even made by sony
brands like walkman,bravia don't make a good cell phone
