Do you think this works on my Z1010? I need more memory than 128mb.

That's got to be a joke.....right!
U don't seriously expect P910 firmware to go on a Z1010!!

Hi Doug, Unfortunately I cannot tell you if BT headsets work as I don't have one myself. As far as everything else is concerned I have not come across any problems with the firmware so far.
The phone works perfectly fine and is definetly slightly quicker than it was before. I also seem to have a hell of a lot more space on the phone's internal storage than I had previously.
My main reason for the upgrade is for the use of a bigger memory card and this benefit is far more inportant to me than problems with BT.
I guess its very much down to what u intend to use the phone for and for me it's using it to play music.

I just had a thought, i guess if i flash my p900 to the custom-made p910 file, i cannot use the norwegian language anymore? I don't care if the menus are in english, but i fear it will have other consequences, such as access to the special Æ, Ø, and Å characters, for instance.

Another thought or question...... If the P900 is flashed to the P910, you obviously can't use the P900 update service anymore. How do you go about updating the firmware? Will you then use the P910 update service or do you have to take it to a SE Service Centre and what would they say?? Worst still, are you stuck with that firmware for the duration?

Just fyi - The latest version of the firmware seems much faster to me, and seems more convincing at making the P900 look like a P910 - I can now install the free iGO powerpoint reader OK. Bluetooth to my PC dongle also works fine, though I haven't yet re-tried my headset.

Whilst I can't imagine that SE firmware update would work (after all, it's hacked firmware, not vanilla p910 firmware) I also don't see much need to get firmware updates - pretty much everything's OK.

I'll probably go to a P910 when my upgrade's available (just because the P905's looking pretty tired hardware-wise) but right now I'm a happy bunny...
