I don't know what to think of this device. This is a 2011, Q4 phone that will be released next year in March! Its saving grace will be a brilliant camera, something like a good 12 to 16mp cause most of those specs are already out in other phones.

I read somewhere that Qualcomm's 1.8Ghz, dual-core processors are already out and you can just see a Galaxy SIII with that processing power.

Let's see what happens next year. This seems like a decent phone though.

March is too late!!! People spend most during Christmas holiday. Isn't that common sense?

The demands are high if you call this phone "decent"

Well maybe decent compared to the new monsters from HTC and Samsung

... hence the statement: 'This is a 2011, Q4 phone that will be released next year in March'.

Their problems started in mid-2006 but they did manage to release the X1 which was better than the competition at announcement, then Satio- again superphone at the time of announcement. Last year it was the X10 which was on par with the best except it was outdated in the software department. So, why are you saying they can't afford to compete now when they can but keep making blunders?

The reason some of us lament the lack of progress within SE is because we would like the company to get back to where it was before- at the top of the food chain. We also know what the company is capable of and the fact that it has two powerful parents makes it harder for some of us to accept the harsh reality that SE is fading into obscurity.

Sounds good to me . How likely is it that this will be announced on the 1st October? If so, that would be a long path until March...

I seriously hope they ditch qualcomm as their chip supplier. HTC and qualcomm are to close and SE is always coming in second there. When SE release a dualcore, HTC will already have a phone with krait...

aurelius do you have any news about ST-ericsson? (are they even making money btw? seems no one are using their chips? )

March is good for me as that's when my X10 contract runs out! Wow, so the X10 will be two years old by then! And It's still going pretty strong if you ask me!
