@m0hammad

I did think of one thing that you may not have. I imagine the length of the top piece of the w800i headset is fairly shortened. When using a regular headset the mic will be FAR away from your mouth and unusable unless you're holding it or something. Just a thought.
Oh yeah, my birthday was just a month or so ago, so you could give the phone to me for my birthday!!!! I'm full of good ideas today.

Ya man, good (actually bad, lol) thinking. But i still think i am going to ahead with my plan. Do u think there is any flaw in it, it should work OK, right?? After all each of these r SE made stuff, well, who knows, the PCBs may be all so different.

And ya man, i'd have given the set to u if only ur b'day was anytime in the "near" future

Oh, i am in such a generous mood t'day

I think your plan should work, but then again, I've never actually seen an HPM 70 so I'm really not an expert on the subject. I just hope for your sake the wires are the same and there's nothing extra there specifically for the pop port. On a side note, why didn't they make the pop port compatible with the P series in the first place? It fits, why won't it work? Ok, I'm done with my mild outburst. Let me know when you get your w800i in and tell me how it goes.
It would be nice if someone could come up with a pop port to 2.5mm adapter so anyone could use the HPM 70 with a P series phone. Where are you from anyway?

I lost my 2.5mm to 3.5 mm stereo adapter and just ordered another on online. Thought it was a good deal, so I'm posting it here. Free Shipping is always good.
