im so jealous of you being able to spend £3k on a bike, i cant even afford £300... and im desperate to get into road cycling!
im so poor and in such desperate need to get my own wheels that i bought my mates mountain bike for a tenner even though its a 15 gear gripshift piece of lead without front suspension! cant wait till i earn some money and spend some decent money on a decent road bike

get some slicks on that mtb and your road riding will be a whole lot better..
as for the £3k.. i would have had but my shares were cack... so i had to settle for a new hifi instead.
new bike is still on the horizon though.. few more pay days and ill have one!
all cycling is brill.. ive done road/XC/cyclo cross/DH/DS/trials/bmx
only thing i havent done that i would love love love to do is a wee bit of velodrome cycling and cycle speedway...

yeah but i dont want to spend unnecessary money on the MTB i can use it to get fit as its heavy and going to be a task to ride. i need to keep my funds ticking over so i can get that road bike i so want

a steel rigid ride rig will benefit you in the long run..
the longer your on that, then you swap over to a 15lb road bike youll fly...
i notice it when i swap from my 24Seven to my 'Dale..
effort needed o dale is a hell of a lot less than the 24Seven but you fly..
