> K800 keypad coating peels off

I just bought my phone for 2 weeks and the #, 4 pads coating is peeling off really badly! It's a THREE from HK... And it has chinese strokes too... Think I should complain to the shop I bought it from? It looks really imperfect like this! I love this phone so much that it hurts to see it like this!

I just use the cheap Original ScreenGuard costing USD 1.5 to protect the LCD from scratches. Nothing else. My K800 remains beautiful after 1 month of usage. No keypad peeling off. No screen scratches. Just minor ones on the lens cover. I won't use Pivot silicon case. That's ugly. I just want to enjoy the pure beauty of my K800 without additional accessories.

hi guys.. i have my k800 for about a month now and guess what my keypad is starting to peel off too.. and i dont knw how to fix it. maybe ill look for someone selling keypads for k800i. my k750i never had this kind of problem.. argh!!!

Argh, now the # key is already 50% peeled off. This is terrible. I have screen protector and some plastic case that protects the whole phone but the keys. I can't find any that can protect the keys. Silicon covers aren't out yet, in my country. And the 4 key is starting to peel off slowly. Is it possible to change the keypads? It looks so ugly!

So is this just an isolated incident perhaps? Anyone elses K800 keypad showing signs of wear and tear? I've only had my K800 for a week and I'm worried the same will happen to mine in the future!
Also, can any provide any decent pics of what this bubbling/rubber wear looks like?

I have the same problem. Well, I know, what happens. There is some layer and it is wearing off, the keys themselves remain intact. And that's the answer why K750 and other phones didn't have such problems. They simply haven't got this layer!
But my explanation doesn't solve the problem. Silicon case would definitely help but I haven't seen them yet (at least in Russia). Dunno, why SE decided to make this layer. It causes so much trouble and it would be better not to make it at all.

Mine is 40 days old, no peels off at all. I don't use any protection, just a cheap screen guard.
