Analysts do seriously reckon Moto will knock down Nokia early next year.

Moto has grown 55% for the last 4 quarters while Nokia is managing only 33% so they must be doing something right. I think cybershot and have secured a healthy outlook for

I am still wondering what other branded handsets will bring to market... mmmmm

How is Motorola going to overtake Nokia though? I don't that the RAZR can pull them over the line. I mean apart from their recent announcements they haven't really got many products to offer to the public. The other annoncement previous to this one was the one in June, but they were only two low end mobiles. Nokia, on the other hand, have announced far more phones, covering a more diverse range of the market than Motorola.

@shaliron

The figures speak for themselves.

If Moto carry on the way they have been doing the last year, then they will be bigger than Nokia by early 2007. Only 6 months away.

Who would have ever thought it possible that Nokia would be kicked off its throne

I know that Motorola has done very well in the past year or so. But I can't see Motorola keep up this pace for the next six months. That's why I used the example of very little new mobiles for Motorola. The facts refer to the past but I don't think it'll reflect the future. I think that everyone in world know owns a RAZR

@shaliron.

Exactly, and everyone in the world owns a RAZR and if Moto has just announced the next generation or RAZR s, then that an awful lot of upgrades

True, but everyone with a RAZR right now signed away their souls on a 24-month contract to get it, so they won't be upgrading any time soon

everyone here also owns a V3 RAZR, but the fever is lowering, is taking its place. but I'm sure that Moto will come up with something revolutionary in the design area, as they've been doing it lately.
