ok i know a person in sony ericsson marketing department and he mentioned to me that there will be a new mobile out in end of Q2 but it is nothing compared to the P800.... nothing as multifeatured like the P800, but instead it will be similar to T68i with slight upgrades

okay, so here is the back up for the captain's info... it is true indeed... i had never doubted... but java, polyphony and 65k tft in a 80g phone is not a slight upgrade, it is the maximum closeness to the perfect phone, imo. way to go se, just hope it will get to us in a promised period...

I don't really care. I'm holding out on buying another mobile phone until next year or so, because these new phones out right now don't really please me, even the Nokia 7210 and Samsung S100, because they are simply missing some important feature (Like bluetooth for example and high battery life).
But consider a phone with a 65000 color TFT display, imagine the problems with it, from low battery life and screen burn outs because of the small screen size. The T100 has a TFT display and has a crap battery life and only 4096 colors. Unless they got some sort of new super battery they haven't told us about, I don't think a phone with 65k colors would be all that great.

Actually Sony has developed a new screen technology that can display 200K++ colors.. that's like an 18-bit or so screen. So it wouldn't be a shocker to see a 65K screen on the T68i successor.
The P800 however should have a 65K screen by the time it comes out... 12-bit will be old news by 2003.

I know I have an insight into there new phones aswell. They are going to lighter faster and all, its like amazing. But hold on I heard this shit from some d*ckhead who could make up anything. There is no doubt that there are going to be new phones coming out heaps butter but don't post shit if its not confirmed. This does not go in this section. Not to offend you but what stops anyone saying what you said now hey, I have heard this and that you know the new Ericsson phones are going to have WINDOWS XP built in so you can browse http and that, its going to be really good.
