K800i was suposed to be my next phone but now I'm not so sure if I should buy it, I'll probably wait for SE to release 5 MP camera phone,hope it will happen soon.
, because there is not so much diference between 2 and 3 MP.

I have the K800i, I've had it for 3 months now, and I absolutely love it. The best phone I've ever had without a doubt. I'm kind of an obsessive phone freak, and my phone history is as follows:
Nokia 5110 - Nokia 3310 - Nokia 3410 - Nokia 7210 - Nokia 7250 - Nokia 6230 - SE K700i - SE S700i - Samsung D500 - Samsung D600 - Nokia 7610 - SE K750i - SE W800i - SE W810i - Nokia 6233 - Nokia N70 - Samsung E530 - SE W900i - Samsung D800 - Nokia N73 - SE K800i
Of the above, I have the Samsung E530 (as a spare), the N73, the 6233 and the K800i, obviously. Of all those phones, I've never been as happy with a phone as I am with the K800i. The only phone that comes close is the W810i, as this was fantastic at the time. My phone is completely SIM-free and debranded, which I think makes a huge difference. I have a friend with a Vodafone-branded handset and everything is different, from the organisation and graphics in the menu systems to the features - there are several features in the Vodafone handset which have been disabled or removed. The only way someone can truly judge a phone is if the handset is SIM-free, because many other issues with phones, ie. crashes, are often caused by the software installed by the network.

I am more than happy with the phone exept from the sound quality and the 'white screen' crashing problem. But the last one is a huge problem. So if my phone is crashing i will get it back to the service centre and i will probably buy a new phone. Probably not a k800 but another

Update your firmware especially if its an unbranded/sim free version...the new firmware solves alot of problems including the white screen flash that comes up everytime the phone goes into standby.

well... it seems that i'm now regretting that i have bought k800
really
1. i only use my flash on the first day and 2nd day it wont function anymore
2. sound quality is good..more crispier than k750/w800 but it is not as loud as them
i believe most of us want k800 to have louder speaker or has the same volume with w800.. sadly, the company done a bad impression to his consumers
3. battery... battery really sux. i already turn off my 3g network, i also did turn off my flight mode thing at start-up and i did firmware upgrade and still battery only last 2days or something but defenitely will not last 3 days
4. after having firmware upgrade, i still find bugs on my phone.
5. regarding the megabass feature... i know i will not use this feature but still, why did they remove on the latest model of their own? should've they put that feature on k800 and remove it on k750?
6. flashlight... it is a very handy feature to me but they didn't apply it.
even if you download the torch application, the only light will flash is the red light not the xenon.. sadly
7. related to my number 4, my phone got slower than before after upgrading my firmware
sorry guys but i really think that my k700 is far better than my k800. regardless the memory and camera. oh yeah! my k700 speaker is more louder than my k800 so it means its really far far better than my k800 huhuhu

. But what will happen when they stop making the best overrall phones with all the functions in one small size piece of handsett? That is what most people are looking for, isnt it?

for those who are complaining about the k800 not having a torch then go buy the 750 coz se didn't promise that 800 will have a led light. they announced that it will be having a real xenon flash. can u ever find a digi cam with xenon flash being used as a torch. well f u really want a source of light during dim light conditions you cna always use the main display as it is bright enough to aid you. anyway, be wise in your comments and suggestions. k800 is designed as a cybershot cam with a real xenon flash. and regarding the mem stik not included, i think it depends on where you bought ur unit. coz mine came with a 64 MB stik. as for the battery life, mine can last up to 4 days standby and 2 days of heavy usage including cam and flash but with phone function use only can last up to 3 days. i haven't had any problems with my fone yet. knock on wood. had it for 2 months already. i have the brown one. as for the sound quality,i can even hear my phone ring inside a disco, and the music player is simple and you can adjust the equalizer manually to suit your preference. and please dont compare k800 from n73. it is a smartfone for god's sakes. se has different lines for diff types of fones. camerafones, walkmanfones, clamshells, pda fones. it's a marketing strategy. nokia was able to develop a smartfone with 3 mp cam and other functions you mentioned i.e. n73. but because of cramming all these into a fone of that size a lot of bugs can happen. iv had the n73... broke... replaced... broke.... refund.... bought k800... happy! would you want an all-around fone full of bugs? not me.
