New to this forum, but I thought I'd post my $0.02.

1) phone also starts looking for BT devices after a USB cable disconnect. This is weird because it didn't to this before the R9A update.
2) I don't find the phone all that slow. In fact it is comparable to my old Treo 650 (which I would still have if I hadn't dropped it in a pool of water). This has been an excellent replacement for my Treo.
3) I've had 2 crashes since the firmware upgrade but I've had a lot more with the Treo. The only bad thing is that the M600 does take a while to load up compared to the Treo, but I think that is an issue with all SE phones...slowest startups of any maker that I've ever tried, Symbian and non-Symbian.
4) I find that some software loads a little slow, but once it's running it's quite fast. The browser works quickly once it is loaded in Task Manager and only gets slow again if I close the app and then restart.
5) I'm Asian so can't understand why there isn't any Asian language support, especially when Asia is the largest market for phones, SE has offices all over this region, and Symbian has offices here too.
6) I use BB Connect for my phone...latest upgrade is version 3.37...what I can't understand is why it shuts down when my phone is connected to my PC via USB or BT...this is weird and only started after the R9A upgrade, which resulted in the V 3.37 BB Connect upgrade.
7) the battery cover is way to hard to get off and I think the reason battery power sucks is because SE got the battery from China...this is a first for me. I checked my phone...I have no idea where it is made.

I've got a few issues with my phone, but none that would make me hate it. This is a great phone in a small package. Given the newness of the UIQ3 OS I can imagine Sony going all MS Windows for a while until it sorts out all the bugs...note to SE...MS is not a good model to follow, fix the bugs then release the phone.

Someone asked if you can create passwords for the M600 to keep prying eyes away...yes you can. Go to the control panel and select Security. You can adjust the settings there, but make sure you know your default phone or SIM password first...3 x wrong = lock out.
