It's almost impossible for SE to break their (samsung and LG) stranglehold. If they manage to even get 3 percent market share it would be an achievement.

if the korean members on esato do their best to promote SE in their country SE could go for 10%

I think it would take a while but SE could do it with some good well-equipped, attention-grabbing handsets to start off with.

Nokia may be about to make another push into South Korea's mobile phone market, according to local sources.

The world's leading mobile handset maker is poorly represented in the country of 49 million, where mobile phone sales are dominated by local firms. Korea is Asia's third largest mobile phone market behind China and Japan.

@mikespal if a nation got used to fones that sounds and behaves like a nintendo, hard to accept quality. I go crazy of their menu sounds and most of them looks childish. Lately their irda and bt was able to send contacts and that was all. No thms, games etc for those funky devices. Its another market, thx god, far away from europe, the cradle of the one and only mobile tech

@boba. Ericsson handsets are good but now they would be decidedly agricultural compared to whats on offer. Sad but true.
