No doubt the n95 will be packing quite a punch when it launches, and i, for my sin's, will be grabbing one when it is launched, knowing the firmware will more than likely be fairly buggy...

As for gps, i won't be using it, but, as ive been intrested in mobile cam's since the launch of the 7650, it'll be interesting to see how far nokia's camera implementations have come since 2000.

Impressive specs for shure, but very boring looks spoils it for me and i'am a bit nervous that S60 still is very sluggish and unstabel, but that is to see....

@jj03,
I doubt it will be buggy as S60 3rd Edition had matured quite quickly and this device will have FP1 included. I am not saying it will be completely bug free, what is at launch. But any issues will be resolved quickly and you will know in advance which issues are being addressed and also what improvements will also be added in the new firmware prior to release with a full change log.

@amnesia,
This is already available on the N93 with a 3x optical zoom i don't see what difference the N95 besides the extra 2 Mega pixels and no 3x Optical zoom which may mean more noise will make. Also the N93 is a better configuration to shoot video with as it replicates a dedicated Camcorder style for shooting.

Nokia should give big attention to n95, to avoid bugs like the zooming on pix in n80

To be honest, nokia aren't the quickest when addressing handset issues..take the n73 for example...even with the new firmware, the "blue tint" issue when taking shots in dim light/ nightshots are really quite bad and still not adress'd..and they says it is a premium device...one with a relatively slow processor at that...quite frankly, it isn't good enough.

I would like to remain optimistic, and say i'm sure it won't happen with the n95, but really, i'm expecting a "reasonable" camera on the n95, rather than what it could have been...yes, the processor in the n95 will no doubt be quite a bit faster, as it has alot more to handle, but i don't see why they couldn't have included an optical zoom, and a proper flash..after all, it is a "premium device". Having a led flash really isnt good enough at all...regardless if it is twice as strong as previous led attempts.

Um I have a n73 right now, and have to say its allot better then anything else I have used really, the p990 doesnt compare to it as that seemed slow and very buggy to me, although people who wonder why they get a blue tint on pictures need to change the white balance.

now the reason the n95 wont have optical zoom is simple. Optics will take up allot of room, even the m micro ones seen on nikon sony any fujuifilm take up allot of room (appro 5x 1 x 1 cm) as it relys on a optical tube with a mirror on one end (where the lense is) and a sensor at the other, making it actually quite large, they just rotated itlike a parrascopre on the new slimline cameras, and the proper flash is again to do with size and battery capacity, it would make up quite allot of room to put in a proper flash unit on a phone, and because of the bulb type they use it would also take up a high mah and voltage on the battery which means draining it faster. Yes a LED is almost as bright, yet not quite as fast. So realistically those ideas must be scrapped.

Even thought the cam is 5mpx I dbout it will be much better then a k800i thought tbh

More than any N95 or similar i wish SE to fix P990 with next FW.. i am sure that P990 is capable of performing a lot better then it does right now. But if that does not happen, then i hope "Elena" will have no such issues.

hi everyone... jus thought i'd pop my thoughts on this N95 matter in as i've been test piloting one for the last 6mths!

At the beginning of the test the fw was very very buggy but with each new version they send out to me it improves a hell of a lot!

The camera is good for a phone but still the quality is only noticeable when transfered pics to the pc! The GPS works like magic but Nokia's own built in software doesnt really do it justice... cant wait to load up tomtom on it!

I for one will definately be getting one on release as its an amazin phone just like the N93 i have used for the last year!

Role on March 2007! UK Exclusive as well! HAHAHA!

p.s. before u ask i cant post pics of it... even though the official announcement was released a while back i am still tied into an NDA with Nokia about relelasing pics an more in depth info!
