If you don't get this option, you have a few choices:

1. Check updated firmware
2. If you phone is branded:
2a. Try to get it unbranded
2b. Call your carrier's customer service and complain

i was sure i'd seen this setting but then it just vanished!

just realised that i was doing what most peaople here must be doing. when you press "more" on the contacts sreen there are 3 extra options below contact manager that you have to scroll down to see.

hope this helps otherwise its just me being a complete idiot.

i will note that this option does not help me because i'm too lazy to write the first and last names in seperate fields

Arrrghhhh....

I've grown to like this phone, and have decided to keep it.

Now all I want is a white case and keypad to replace the T-Mobile one (silver & black as shown here: http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/esh[....]erId=1014¤tPageNumber=1#

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP! I can find the white case to buy, but the white keypads don't exist!! Help!

I just really dont understand why people say p990i is such a crap.

1. how do i set the browser/ account home page?

2. messages icons they all look the same new, old and sent is this the case for everybody?

much better at least i can uninstall dream connect..

so with the phonebook working and video fixed..i'm a lot happier... still like to see a few little things changed in UIQ.. but overall much more happier....hopefully my compliants will be addressed in lizy and maria
