@car - EVERYTHING has IT's END . . . so does the OIL that we use now and the TREES that some animals LIVE in . . . just in my END, many peeps in our country-side DIE every year (when TYPHOONs arrive), because most of the TREES in their land were already CUT-off and made into papers or houses etc. (profit . . .) the water that comes from the RAIN will just make the SOIL ERODE continuously, unlike if there are STILL TREES, it's ROOT will SIPHON the water that comes from the RAIN. I like the style of - Japan, where they IMPORT most of the TREES that they will be usin' at their end, so the ONES that they have will be preserved for a loooong period of time, protected ones indeed

Yes, oil does have its end but we're nowhere near that end.
There were reports in the media approx 5 years ago saying we had only 30 years left at the rate we consume oil. But that doesn't mean that in 30 years we'll have none left.
Let me put it this way, Let's say in your kitchen cupboard you have food for 7 days. Does that mean that in 8 days time I'll find you starving? No.
Because you'll go and get more food before you run out. Just as we'll extract more and more oil. It may get harder and more expensive to extract, but there's plenty more there.
At some point other energy sources that are currently unecomonic/undesirable such as Solar, Wind and Nuclear will become more cost competitive and our dependance on Fossil fuels will decrease.
As for trees there is no shortage, but you're right in saying we should be careful of the effects of erosion, flooding etcetera. But that just comes down to good management of resources. In such cases, having Governments which are unaccountable for thier actions at the ballot box such as Communist regimes and Powerful Dictatorships is surely a disadvantage.

@car - Yeah . . . I got it mate ! In a way we can NOW say that the invention of this HYBRID/battery-operated CARS are part and parcel (already) of their plan to substitute for OIL (in the very near future) and ALSO, to lessen the smoke emission . .. resulting to global WARNING, I mean - WARMING !
I just cannot HELP but to always ADHERE to WHAT I believe in . . . that everything in this Earth has it's . . . END ! Even LOVE has an END . . . even HUMANS has it's END . . . even DINOSAURS, even . . . . oh boy - I will just INCLUDE them all !

...that man was actually obsessed with a secret code supposedly to be found in the bible... Belief in mumbo jumbo is a quality I really look for when I search the yellow pages for a punctual scientist!
Save the world? Dump those poisonous plastic bootles you're forced to buy to get some sort of water that can be consummed right inside the lobby of your local county offices! Get some neighbours to join you, call a local "reporter" and off you go! The water business is the devils work!

In a farm that farm dog controlls the flock of sheep and they all run the same way and get caught. But theres always that one sheep who runs the other way and escapes. Its like global warming, its just another way to tax us and control us.

No it isnt cause 1% of co2 ammissions is by man, co2 is the lifeblood of life. Read the link above.
Isacc Newton predicted the destruction of the world in 2060 because he decoded the book of revelations, and it supposedly reavels the end of the world. However many christians believe it was written by a mad man with a history with mental conditions. I doubt believing a mad man would be right, but you never know, better wait and see eh?

There is no scientific evidence to support the THEORY. Most scientists excludigng the hippees and tree huggers with no scientific qualifications, including Al Gore and certain members of greenpeace are talking shit with out any evidence, nor fact. Name a fact of man made global warming? None
