I've just joined this club! Successfully debranded a Swisscom branded M600i. I feel much better now. Thanks Kulan and Esato

I want to change the CDA of my phone, but everytime I try, it gives me Error: Bypass!> REQ. Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks!

I sent my 2 prototypes to a guy on Ebay in the end .. he did them for £8 each.

Woohoo!

It's old news I know, but I finally got to use my Kulankendi credit yesterday, and I've now gone from the horrible Vodafone heavy branded version to R5B02 - and what a difference! It's a whole new phone - a lot nicer to look at, and a lot faster and seemingly more stable too.

Thanks Kulankendi!

Greetings!

I had the exact same problem as adhoc_125.
I have a SE M600i Orange Switzerland branded

This was my error log:

Code:
Hold 'C' button and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Error: Bypass!> REQ.

Thank's to lemmy31's post, I pressed on C (on the keyboard) instead of the Back button (on the left of the phone) and it worked..

But the client could not connect to kk's server and the operation stopped.

Code:
Hold 'C' button and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...

[/code]

Now it shows me a new CDA number: CDA162016/11 which neither the old one nore the new one I entered..

UPDATE:

I tried again to flash the phone and this time it worked ! I am now a proud owner of a world generic M600i phone !
