@ Ares - sadly there have been quite a few occasions recently that I haven't been able to take a call, because my phone has frozen (after running out of memory) and required a restart. Maybe it's "bad flash" syndrome, or maybe it's not - the flash explanation doesn't make much sense to me... it worries me that quite a few posters have said "mine doesn't do that, it must be a bad flash" but absolutely nobody has said "mine used to do that, but I fixed it with a good flash"...

From what even happy UIQ3 users have said, the only difference between my phone and others is that their phones restart themselves when they (inevitably) run out of memory, whereas I seem to have to hard reset my manually for some reason. Either way, the phone goes out of action for no good reason.

Not quite...my phone, like kotoīs and tailīs , hasnīt had a selfrestart since more than a month...i normally do it manually after a day or two, three if iīm not using it for with some intensive RAM apps, and i do it to improve performance

But iīm perfectly aware there are alot of users experiencing restarts frequently, or freezes, for reasons i cannot totally identify, and that is very bad for UIQ3 "reputation"

For my own experience I have not had a single restart since the latest f/w. And that is over a month now. Its really difficult for me to understand all the problems some users have with there phones. The same way for them to understand me, ares and koto for not having this kind of problems. Its a real mystery for me. And as ares says, its not good for the UIQ3 reputation. But thats up to SE to do something about, and I think they are on the right way

OK, I stopped using level3 of memory reclaim and generally smpro except for shortcuts. Just interested to see if those habits had anything with my phone stability.

this is a joke guys. so take it as a joke.

You guys, the 3 of you, already took all the available numbers from the UIQ. You know, UIQ3...so only 3 ppl can use the UIQ properly....

bad joke. I know.

I see there are a lot of fanatics for SE phones on this forum.

It has been noted in other forums that esato is biased to SE.
I have been reading the posts throughout since I got my P990 and I have to say it is true.

"P990 is superfast with latest firmware" as some of you posted.

Funny!!!!

Even my friends who I gave my phone to try to see if you guys were talking some sense, SAID the phone is really SLOW!!!!! ALMOST all the apps takes no more than 2 seconds to load except for the one loaded in memory.
One guy almost damaged my screen coz he kept tapping an app and it took so long to load.

HAHAH!!!!
