Where i am rite now,i find 3G very useful, instead of putting my N80 on Dual Mode or GSM only i actualy put it on 3G only becoz ive got full 3G at home and at school and 95% of the places i go to hav full 3G coverage, makes it realy pleasant to browse big webpages, but at times it is a bit slow and i would like a phone with HSDPA it would be even better this is why im not aiming for the P1 or W960,but going for Nokia N81 so yes for me HSDPA is 1 of the major deciding factors for my next smartphone

ps: Alexandra are you realy using a W960? Lol

I've honestly found that HSDPA isn't that big a deal on SE phones (I can't speak for other brands since I've never owned anything else)... simply because the bottleneck isn't 3G or the HSDPA connection, but the Bluetooth connection to my laptop... even with regular 3G, the Bluetooth connection suffers greatly compared to the cable connection.

Now, I don't know how much better the current cable throughput of SE phones are now... but on the K600 and P990 (I only tried the P990) ... the cable serial speed was slightly faster than the Bluetooth speed.

Just because I do not care for mobile internet, you assume I do not care for any other technological advances since the 2110.

By the way, go find an SDK for your precious Macintosh.

Right after you get rid of all the spyware, bugs, virues that infect you PC. I must have hit a nerve. So sad.

Not as sad as trotting out that old hackneyed response, it has to be said. If you honestly believe your Mac is somehow immune from spyware, bugs, or viruses, you're considerably more at risk than most PC users.

Oh give it a rest. Do you really think I take anything Alexandra, or for that matter, to heart or remotely pay attention to? I was just answering that stupid comment about an SDK with something where I knew someone (looks like you) would be chomping at the bit to comment on. Game, set, match. You lost.

Bottom line, HSDPA, non-HSDPA. Who cares? My phone has it, I use it, therefore I am happy with it. End of statement. Period, point blank.

BTW: To date, no viruses for Mac that have been caught in the wild. Let me know about Windows track record.
