The reason why it currently doesnt trully work now is down to billing, network roaming and the networks sharing and talking on how best to place mast and route calls.
You have to remeber it isnt just as easy as switching the feature on, there are alot of things you have to take into account.
Orange has a good 3g network and they know that, voda doesnt have a brill one, but they know by routing certain calls on the orange 3g network will benefit them.
Even tho you connect on orange 3g, your phone will still say voda 3g on the handset, so to be honest you dont always know what you are on.
look at 3.
when you are on Orange GSM network, it still shows up as 3 just with no 3g. so you still think you are on 3.

No the agreement was made earlier this year.
However its still in its early days so many people still wont notice anything yet.

It looks like its been scrapped. Compatibilty problems.
However that doesnt mean you cant buy a sim free one and use a orange sim card.
If i hear anything else i will let you know.
But at present it doesnt look good.
But you never know and it could change at any given time.
