WOW! Eldar was quite harsh in his W960 review.

Hmm... are the one-handed ergonomics on the W960 that bad? I am pretty happy with the interface of the P910i with the flip-closed. I was never fond of the full qwerty thing since I usually end up using only one hand for most of the functions. If I had to use 2 hands, I prefer the stylus. But that's just me.
I think the deciding factor for me will be the W960's final price when it comes to the market. US$800 is a bit too much... even for everything that's included in the kit. US$600 should be perfect, but doubtful.
If the W960i comes in at US$800 or more, then I'll finally settle on the P1i (not that I feel the P1i is inferior, it's just that I was never fond of the full qwerty keyboard form-factor)
Who knows? I might do a complete 180 and go for the K850 instead... hahahaha

@jplacson:
i second the motion!

i fully agree with your last thoughts.
i'm torn between the W960 and K850... of course, i know that i need to know my priorities: music (Walkman) or photo (Cybershot). but the problem is, i like to have both.
$600 is still too prohibitive for me, though... based on the posts around here and somewhere for the K850, i think i'm already falling for the K850! no Walkman feature but the media player sports MegaBass!
just my thoughts...

For $800 USD I'd personally rather get Nokia's more fully featured N95 8GB... At least then I'd get my moneys worth. $800 dollars for phone speced like the W960 is ridiculous and an insult! Does Sony Ericsson really think we'll pay that much for a phone with those specs?!? Or, maybe I'll just get a iphone and $400 worth of music on itunes and fill it up with music the day I get it?.....
