@gregface: Sometime its helpfully to read the text above the downloadlink on my homepage instead of clicking on every downloadbutton without further infos. The PC-Suite has to be installed.

I know that, give me some credit, it is installed, but will not connect either!

Using Vista,

I only have "Sony Ericsson G900 Application Port (COM4)"

Nowhere can I find "Sony Ericsson G900 Phone Connect (COMX)"

No new hardware messages appear when I connect my phone in phone mode.
Though I do have a "Sony Ericsson G900 PC-Connect Controller" in device manager under "USB controllers"

I don't know about vista. Is it fully compatible with UIQ phones when running on vista? It's working for me with my P1...

Make sure that M-Router, the thing that comes with PC-Suite is running. No need to have PC Suite active.

When I connect to MPE the first time, I always get an error (Phone cannot be identified). I have to disconnect the USB cable and connect it again. Only then I get the phone connected.

Once the connection is established, I can pull off the USB cable as often as I want, when I connect again, the phone is recognized immediately.

Another point: Did you do the initial setup ?(File->Options->Connexion->Find Phone (the button on the right above "OK"/"Cancel")

Good luck !
