I'm actually going with QVGA on this one...
Not the whole thing about "you're complaining because you can't afford it", but if you've got the money, why not?
Seriously, if you were a millionaire, would you go about in an Audi A3 or R8?
Would you live in a flat in Edmonton or a penthouse apartment overlooking the Thames?
Come on people. The Arte is for those who can afford it, if you can't, buy something else. Not saying I've got a grand to blow on a phone, as I don't, but if I did have that kind of money to spend on just a phone, I'd go for it.

But point is you’ll buy (people did, do, will). thats why 8800 has many edition.

You keep on saying that but not once did you mention why it isnt worth that much amount of money? I bet you just saw that it has a crappy camera, small screen and not much going on for it technology wise.

Persistently and ignorantly you take the right to insult.
As for me, I based my purchase of laptop and phone on the looks. What I got is "self-decisive" K850i and "performance-optimizing" P1i. Sony Vaio laptop and Sony Ericsson, if I put them together, they might work at 100%
Talking about freedom of speech....

I don't like the Nokia Arte, nor the 8800 range or Nokia's L'Amour range. I don't think Nokia does "Design Phones' at all well. Give me a T650 over any of the above, anyday! The new W980 will blow this Nokia Arte out of the water in terms of style and WOW! factor.
If I had $$$,$$$,$$$ I'd buy the entire
range including thier back catalogue and display them all in a separate room in my 'mansion'
And if you look around, you'll find most celeb's use Blackberrys because of the email client. The Vertu's only come out at Media events...
