You can buy 1st December 2012 but won't be able to display it until 01/03/13 on a car registered on 01/03/13.....

Exactly, so you'd have to buy a brand new car...
We were going to get my brother R008 ABB for his 21st birthday (Roobarb or 'Roob' is his online nick, has been for years and even some of his mates call him that, the rest know what it means, and ABB are his initials) but he's just bought his first house and even though he's got a 53 plate Megane, he can't afford to buy a new car just yet.
So we're looking at ones like R60 OOB

Well it's easier to say 'Roob' because 'Adam' it two sylabales (spelling?

) vs one, so alot of us call him that

I can just extend its retention certificate
And then buy a Perodua Kelisa or something, and put it on there.
I'm having that plate!

Mine in NZ is N01MAN (EN ZERO ONE EM AYE EN). I dont have it on my car atm coz its kinda gay. Got an offer of $10000NZ for it by Jonah Lomu (All Black) but thought I would hang on to it as an investment. Will see I guess!... When I get back to NZ that is! haha

opinions please. Still looking for a decent number plate for my MK1 MR2.
Below is a possibility (though displayed on a roadster) but you have to read it backwards to make it work... is this lame and I'm just getting desperate or does it really work?

lol, well I guess it can be read as EMR2 E or, as you say, E MR2 E
I just dunno though...
btw, in France they had to call these just MR rather than MR2... if you know even the littlest french you'll understand why
