hi all - i suffered the same prob with my t610 - rang o2 last week and was told some bulls**t about the network being fixed and it would be ready until the end of the month. i didnt buy this - rang again yesterday, threatened them i would cancel my contract, moaned about being told lies - and the girl at the othert end told me it was something as simple as my account not being "flagged" as using MMS - "online 100 not online 100+MMS" - i quote. she told me to wait 24hrs for the request to go thru - and hey - bingo - mms works - hope this helps!

Just to "add my stone to the construction" as we say in French, I have the same problem, and called my carrier's support.

They told me that as my phone (T610) is new, and they had not yet added the settings / software version (the guy asked me for my firmware version: R1A081...) to their data base, it could not work.

But now it should, as they will add the SE T610, within 2 weeks!!! No kidding, it's France...

Do you people outthere belive this explanation?

I personnaly don't, as the guy told me that "we are aware of all firmwares and phones on the market" but they would'nt have added the SE T610 if I had not called...

I definitly should have kept my T39m, as I had so much less problems with it

I believe IMHO that when your sending MMS and a 'User Barred' appears, it means that the Network won't allow you to send MMS to those Networks...unless it happens when you're sending to the same one. My girlfriend experienced that too when she was sending me an MMS...same error occured then we called up the CSR. We then found out that the reason why this happens, is because the network won't allow sending MMS to other networks.

Hi,

I have the T610 on O2 network and having probs with MMS. I Have received and installed settings but still receiving pics as texts to retrieve off web. (The only thing I can think of is that I choose to access web via dial up WAP and not GPRS - although I have settings for this if I want it). On going into picture settings - in the wap profile I am given two choices - O2 WAP or O2 MMS. Have tried both but no luck! Had the T68i before on Voda and no probs with that!!

Tried ringing the far too expensive help line only to be sent settings again!!

Please please please help

PS Are there any sites that I can send free MMS to myself to check it its working??

Just to say a big thank you to everyone who posted a message on this forum. It helped me so much when trying to set up mms on my Sony Ericsson T610 (02 online). I can only advise people to keep going! I used to phone 02, but got fed up with the high call costs. Use email from the 02 site, they do reply to your messages eventually!

After almost 2 weeks i have got it sorted out!

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=33636&forum=14 any advice on this would be appriciated though!!!!!!

Thanks, Jen

I had a problem a while ago with gprs. After over 7 hours on the phone over about 10 days (at 50p/min) and countless emails, the woman told me that they'd screwed up moving my number to my new after my old 1 got stolen. They sent a new one & it worked. I phoned up so many times I actually got to know one of the data services guys and he lost his rag cos it wasnt a data services problem or somethin & started phonin the ppl who put me thru &settin em straight!
