According to Symbian about 80% of the s/w, typically, developed for the Series 60 should be portable to the UIQ format with few changes. So, Quick Office could be ported without too much effort to the P800. The main effort must have been to develop Quick Office for the Series 60 in the first place. Also, I assume the Symbian market for PDA-like devices at th emoment is relatively small compared with Palm / PPC PDAs. But given the trends, I think Smartphones will take greater chunks of the PDa market. If this happens, Quick Office will have "early mover" advantage. especially in Europe where the P800 and Motorola A920 are very popular (yes I know there are restrictions on the installation of s/w on the A920 - but this will change).
