Just got another T610 from carphone warehouse and, as expected, still has a bit of a hiss. Its not too bad that I can't use it though so I think I will keep this one and then send it off to celestica in a few weeks.

Just been into CPW too. Listened to the 'hiss' on two of the phones they had so I am gettin another one delivered to my house on Monday with specific instructions to check for hissing. If this one has it then i'll just send it off to get repaired.

Damn sweet phone though!

Has anyone got a hiss-free T610 from CPW yet?

Expansys are now advertising their stock as "guaranteed hiss-free".

got mine from CPW on thurday, tried it straight away ang guess what?? its hissis's like f**k. its a really nice phone though.
i Rang CPW up and they said i could take it back to a store (bought over phone) to exchange it, or if i returned my phone they would send another out next working day delivery.

I think this phone is cool and would never get another nokia phone after using sonyericisson's.

is there any way you could protect the screen from scratches? it also attracts alot of dust and fingermarks!!

I got mine delivered on Monday from CPW it is W19 and it hisses. I am gonna wait till near the end of the 28 day straight swap policy so i can be sure to get a hiss free phone. Follow this link and it says that phones after W23 should be ok.

@Caspa

I strikes me that you work for CPW. Do you have any idea what the time lag is for production date (03W23) and to get to stores? I reckon it could be as much as 4 weeks, let us know if you know otherwise!!!

Thanks
