If I got it right, my phone was made in week 36, if so, that means that your phone is not among the first weeks.

some people are full of shit in here, its been confirmed T68=T68i and ALL T68m will be upgraded!!

Khe khe ... "ALL"?! ... not ALL! These news were known in Russia some weeks ago! The Ericsson said before CeBIT that NOT ALL T68 will be TECHNICALY able for update! Only the lastmade models will be able for update! Those ones that were made at the first weeks will not! I have T68 made Week46/2001 and even don't know - is it first weeks or the last one??!! Nobody knows surely! But not ALL! (((

Firstly I would like to thank anyone for reading the post...It is far away from the beginning of the topic :-o. I study communication sciences, but I don't want this post to be any lecture.Just wanted to point out that SE is now a new company and does not have to keep promises made by a former one, which does not imply they will not.But the thing that makes me most angry is that they don't seem to be willing to clarify to us,their former and future customers, what is going on at SE.It would cost so little... pinolo77, I'm gonna have to disagree with you because SonyEricsson might be a new company but they are still selling and supporting old Ericsson and Sony handsets which means that if an MMS update was promised for the T68 then they will have to honor it, same way they still honor their warranty.

I think we all here make clear that the MMS update for the T68 is gonna be available in few weeks...Why we talk about the same things again?

What's the fuss around here? As far as I can see, none of your countries have launched MMS capability in their network. So what the h*ll do you need MMS for right now? Just wait and see. BTW all SP here in Sweden says it will come in the end of march or the beginning of April. Since it's the same hardware as T68i they should be able to have the same software.

Cool if for a while....

ok, I'm not particularly fussed about the MMS as i hardly know anyone with an MMS capable phone or a T68! What I am interested in is all the other stuff that comes with the upgrade, but.....

I called Sony last week, and asked about the upgrade for my phone. He told me the next update was definately a MMS one and i needed to ring back in 2 weeks to confirm the release before I arranged to send my phone off to them! He said the update will be available as soon as MMS becomes available in the UK (2 weeks according to him).

I'm gonna give it a few days over the 2 weeks before I call back.

I never even got chance to ask about MMS before he started talking about it!

I know everyone has had different answers about this, but the guy seemed pretty confident he was right...

...let hope so.

I dont think they will be able to cope with the amount od T68's arriving in their mailbox the day after the release!

thx

Craig

danielm - Norway (Telenor (TeleHore)) has had MMS up and going in the networks for a couple of weeks, and it is FREE until may 1!!

OMG, I really want the MMS upgrade, typical of TeleHore to make it free knowing that nobody has the MMS phones yet!
