does anyone can provide some pictures of the setup and maybe typing in progress ? so one can see the size relationships and get a better imagination of what p800 + keyboard will look like..

sure, there are some pictures at another forum, but these have poor resolution and are not very sharp.

i have a member in my forum who already has a p800 and a pocketop keyboard, i've just emailed him and hopefully i will be able to tell you how well or bad it works tomorrow.

I´m the man he´s talking about. It works really well, as Dignan said. With a little work on it you can use the keyboard walking.

Well for some reason the folks at Symbian have told the folks at Pocketop to take the driver down. Why the hell would they do that? Are they worried about instability or something?

In the meantime, does anyone have a copy they could send me? I never got around to downloading it earlier (I've been fine with the old beta driver)?

Thanks.

I would also like to know if anyone has a copy of the old beta driver. It is a shame that it was removed from pocketops website. This is the only thing that really made me consider getting a Treo 600 before I got my p800. I am giving up a pda with a portable keyboard plus my phone and I desperately want my p800 to replace both. Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have the driver. Not got the keyboard yet though. Send me a personal message and I'll e-mail it.

Thanks for the offer but another user was kind enough to go the extra mile and send it to me. I am currently in the process of purchasing a keyboard myself and am certainly glad I was able to get the software. I am still a bit curious about how the p800 looks on the stand with the keyboard. If someone has pictures they could share that would be great!

Well, I've just received my keyboard (using it now!) and I'm very impressed with it. Anyone know if pocketop are developing better drivers as it would be good if the keyboard could be used for the jogdial and if the some of the shortcuts on the keyboard such as for e-mail could be made to function.
