And 3- battery life. Power consumption in this phone is very big. GPRS, big screen, illumination of that big screen bluetooth, games support (which means more time of use than a normal phone...) Why a so small battery? I know battery's lifetime has been a big problem since apparition of cellular phones, but, why not waiting a little bit more or just spending more resources in battery development?
Even with all that, t610 is a very good phone, as i said before. Thanks to all for reading this.

Sure there always more features, and no-one is ever satisfied (thankfully - thats what keeps things improving) But this thread is mainly about *small*changes, and obvious design flaws that would make things better/easier to use - not about adding the kitchen sink.
Yes, it's a business, and yes the T610 is already a good package - but clearly some things haven't been thought through as well as they could have been. Hopefully they will be, in future firmware and phones - I plan to submit this list, one I find a contact with suitable influence.

i understand you guys and apologies if i offended someone. my point is just accepting what it has because we can never have an "ALL IN ONE" or "I NEED ALL" phone right? that is why there are choices? for me SE offers the most sophisticated in mobile world today but there are choices. T610 is small nice and beautiful but p800 has it all. i like p800 but it is big and bulky so i picked T610...vice versa.
if you didnt get the point...im sorry just wish for the bugs to be fixed and leave the phone the way it was........

jackpipe....dont worry about the speaker phone it will come out with a software update, and why did i know? im working at an International rent a car and SE and Ericsson were our great costumers here and most of them using t610 and shared to me their plans for the next update(not actually the next)...the speaker phone, and personalized sms alert.

Dear SonyEricsson - please make new mobile phones with MATT GLASS displays (like in good old days). This glass would be enough clear to see the information on display, and at the same time it does not get greasy and scratchy so easily.
Mobile phone display is not a TV-screen. Just because you neither put your ear against the TV-screen nor you carry TV in you pocket

Two things I most like to fixed in whatever which new release of firmware:
1. screen saver when phone is idle. There is no LED blinking, when phone is idle, you even don't know phone is ON or OFF! The time on LCD screen is not able to be seen.
2. Ring tone, give an option that can work as old phone.

Oops spoke too soon - if you delete the phone number given as a default, you can then do a lookup.
