> Who/What Led you to SE in the very beginning……?

Q1 & Q2: Just coicidence. My first phone was a Ericsson one (A1018s for that matter) on prepaid. Love Ericsson eversince. Thin they're the best value-for-money phones on the market.
The phones i've had 'till now were:
A1018s, R320s, T39m, T68i and P800.
JUST REALIZED: THIS IS MY 200th POST. Yeepeee!
(ok, ok, you're asking: what's all the fuss about it? I'm not a garbager so my posts must be 80% valid at least.)

Q2. I had a GH237, what a cool phone, then moved through the cycle to t610.

My first SE phone was the S868: The black magnesium frame of these phones in my opinion simply surpassed anything on the market in those days. I opted for a phone that would look business-like. Actually, I wanted the SH888 for its infrared and GSM data facility but could not afford it at the time.
I only had one mobile handset before the S868 - the Motorola 3816 - bulky and basic.
I was very impressed with the durability of the S868. I've managed to drop it on concrete floor, into toilet bowls, pools of water and still have it last me two years before exploding in a fume of blue smoke in its last recharge February 2001.
Since then my migration path has been over the T20s - a bulky baby which had functionality surpassing that of the Nokia 3310, which was the mainstream model at the time. I always liked having a phone that was not considered to be part of the mainstream. SE does that for me.
The T20s broke in December 2002 - the flip hatch simply broke off when I was sitting in a movie theatre a bit too eager to turn it off before the movie started.
I then went out and bought what is very likely to have been the last T39m on sale in Denmark: I wanted to own it ever since it was launched but did not want to spend that much money on it until it was absolutely necessary.
The T39m has lasted me a full seven months now but I am currently having it replaced under warranty as the Bluetooth functionality seems not to work.

Currently using the T610 (only been 3 weeks) - Great replacement to the T68i

Q2: after using my GA628 i have realized that ErPhones are the best phones in use, so here is the list of my phones i had after:
A1018, T10, T18, T28, T29, T65, T68m
as for SE, my first and only phone was (and is) T68m upgraded to T68i, and lack of money forses me not to buy my next planned phone - T610

Bit of a long post...
July 1997 Started on a Nokia 8146 (DCS1800 Version of 8110). Nice phone, lousy antenna (broke, replaced twice), appalling battery life, and lifetime. (Mum had a PH388, excellent quality calls, strong, stupid thin arial that breaks easily)
April 1999 Moved to a 6150. Great dualband phone, good texting. great call quality, Good battery life, BUT bad longitivity (had to be replaced after a year.) Arial broke, and so did housing.. had to be replaced.
September 2000 Moved to R320s Chose it because i tried the demo at a computer show. Absolutely the BEST phone for its primary feature.. as a phone. Locked onto a signal always. never dropped a call for no reason. Excellent call quality (Bang and olufsen speaker) Strong built. worked everywhere throughout the world. still works.. and with original battery. SLOW menus and UI, no Predictive text, poor contact management.
April 2001, moved to Nokia 6210... BIG MISTAKE.. ok, the phoen was nice with good features, but was positively the worse made handset i have ever had.. maybe its just my one.. but still the trouble i had with its screen and arial put me off Nokia completely.. Oh and battery needs to be replaced after one year (surpising coz i only was able to use the phoen about 60% of the time..
June 2001, 8210 as a second phone. lasted over a year, i orginally bought it second hand. Not a bad phone, not very well built though. needed battery replacement. then the battery connectors broke, and cannot find the spare parts to replace it.. currently lying in about 20 peices in my room, awaiting a new battery connector.
April 2002, heard abt a new colour phoen from ericsson on "The Register", T68m.. got it.. loved it.. slow menus, yes.. but everythign else about the phone was PERFECT. Still works, and still is used... original battery... still tech wise very advanced..
December 2002 - T300 for my "second phone" on Orange. nice good quality phone.. doesnt have the features of the T68. but a nice second phoen, cannot really fault it for its purpose.
May 2003 - P800. main phone, absolutely amazing. I use it for work, when going out, i swap the sim into my t68...
In my experience, Ericsson phoens are better built, have nice "niche feaures" and last.. all my Nokia phones are not working.. all the ericssons are still goinf strong...

t28 I absolutely loved that phone with all its problems
a1018s replacement during flipcontact failure
s868 replacement during power amplifier failure(some weeks after warranty was over, that store found a brick in their window for screwing me and my rights, luckly they are out of business now)
a2168 or somthing i borrowed between t28 t610 those were horrible few days
t610 since sunday
