I left my T68 in my pocket and washed my clothes. The phone went through a full wash before I realized where it was. I immediately pulled the phone apart and allowed it to dry for two days.. The phone still works ok. Believe it or not I just did the same thing with my T610. Does anyone know how to remove the antenna cover safely?

@ Gaz

sorry to hear your phone has finally died man! - not much hope for the rest of us then!

To the guy in Mexico - The thought of now immersing my phone in water to wash off any sugary remnants - I just cant bring myself to do it - sorry - lol!

I am trying to put the whole lemon juice thing out of my head and hope the phone gives me at least a years service! - it didnt fall into my pint of lemonjuice, merley the pint fell on it, so I may be lucky....

yer right.

Ah well.

Thanks for all your stories guys - entertaining reading!

washing machines, River rapids, pubs and some guys dick in a basin - great stuff!!!!

I might be wrong, but would immersing the thing in surgical alcohol help to remove the sugar without damaging the inner gummins?
