there is a way to find out can u use memorystick pro in non pro products if yes then it is compatible with p800 if no then it is not compatilbe

If there's something to be discussed, then we'll discuss it. There are many speculations about why it should or shouldn't be compatible, and I for one am all for seeing them aired here. Yes, they're all speculation, but it all makes for interesting conversation.
It would be nice if Sony/SE could say something though - TBH I think it's probably Sony that we need to talk to.

I don't think people are simply saying yes it is or no it isn't - they're giving reasons too. The topic may not be factual, but I think it's good discussion. I find it more simulating than a black/white question/answer. Each to their own however!

Yes i agree with you and im with the sceptics too but not that the p800 cant read because i analyse it in my prev posts im sceptic if ever sony bother to write a firmware to support the pro format,And yes they sure want to sell more of the duos for sure but i hope they dont want to sell them in the so called p900 just to promote the new phone.

Well if SE like it they change everything with a firm update even the new symbian but they dont so i dont know if they ever do something drastic with the firmwares.
