It must be faulty then, ask for a replacment desktop stand then. Mines been fine and I haven't noticed any ill effects from using it over the standard charger.

It cost me 16 GBP which is 25 USD. Still think its worth gettin changed, If not why not just use it for somewhere to stand your fone on your desk or something, looks really nice in my opinion.

I am getting confused . Can anyone enlighten me, pls!

Do we have to discharge the battery completely before charging it and turn the phone off while it's charging?

Bit off topic - did anyone notice that t610 uses far more battery when turned off (at night), compared to when it is turned on. Maybe it is just my phone...

YES!
My T610 does the same, so I just leave it ON 24/24

i have the same problem.. my battery last just over 48h..

i've checked with my mum, which works at ericsson i norway, and they said that i should go back to the store and make test the battery, and give you a new if they found a problem with the battery.. but, (there's allways a but) you have to make the test within the three first months due to garantee.

if you use the desktop charger, try NOT using it next time you recharge

my phone lasts 8 real life days between each recharge now

How long have you owned your 610? How about the daily usage? My sh. one now gets only 3 full days with about 50 mins talking a day and without other things like BT, Camera, Game...

Is the battery life getting better time after time?

i think 2 days (that what i get out of mine) is ok and enough, unless u live in the mountains! I talk around 30 mins a day, use half an hour to 1 hour of wap, travel a lot (so the consumption is increased) and CONSTANTLY playing with it (golf, listen to sounds, taking pics, etc) and i STILL get 2 days! I find it VERY GOOD in terms of battery:-) Tha`s all:-)
PS: I leave it on non-stop.
