I purchased a p900, then came home and changed the tariff no problem, even though the people in o2 stated that it has to be 3 months before i changed.

I asked them if it said this in the contract, and the reply was 'Well, err no not exactly.............. but it's 3 months' lol.

I came home and changed the contract no problem what so ever (yay)

I then tried the same deal for my girlfriend. Purchased the phone, came home, called o2, and got refused on the basis that people were getting expensive phones for free, then reducing the tariff, thus paying less overal (noooooooooooo, neeeever! who would do such a thing)

Anyways, i called again 15 minutes later, and spoke to another member of staff, who then changed my contract to the lowest tariff.

From this experience, o2, don't know their own rules, and i wouldn't trust them what so ever.

Saying this, i'm not complaining, i've saved near about 600 lol.
