Had the same problem once, the original Mandrake disk won't run on my PC (same error, loading 2nd stage ramdisk failure) but it works in other Pcs. I exchanged the disk from the store, try it again and got it working.

Just tried it on another CD drive. Same Problem. WIll try to burn it again.
