Hi, I just got my T610 upgraded from r4c. What I immediately noticed was the better contrast of colors. Images look sharper too! The camera does not lag as much as before and the colors of the images taken are closer to the real thing. I estimate it to be 10 to 15 percent improvement on the display. Texting is just a bit faster. Actually my phone has been slowing down lately. I may need a master reset. The upgrade just "normalized" the speed. I'll post more as I get on with my exploration.

All right. All these are good. But my warranty expired 2 weeks ago. How much costs the update at a se center:-(. And how can i delete the awful digirain sound that takes up 29kb? Also i find the memory is decreased after playing a java game and frees up when restarting.

SW information on the service menu shows upgrade on the LCD SW version.
R4C003 LCD SW version current is 200308060 while R6C005 has 200401160.
This explains the slight improvement on the display. I havent noticed any other improvement.

That doesn't tell me anything unless you can add your score with the older FW..
I guess that phones are similar to computers that can give you totally seperate scores even if they are similar but have been used on different ways.
