You can pay the money for the phone or have high rent..

You decide?

I upgraded to the P900 which cost me £220. £100 discount from T-Mobile after asking for my Puk code. I could of used the same teriff I was on but I down graded it to a cheaper one afterwords mainly for GPRS service

Essentially, yes... phone Orange customer services ask for a PAC code and they'll probably ask you why before transferring you to someone else who'll try to persuede you to stay an Orange customer.

That said, I dont think theres a magic phrase or wording that'll gaurantee get you a P900 at a cheap price... more down to luck of the draw in terms of who you get through to and how much you can schmoose them...

As mentioned above, normally you either pay for the phone and keep a low tariff or get the phone cheap and pay for it over time - occasionally (as in my case) people just get lucky and manage to get both.

you can try as above. It depends on what talkplna you are on at present. If you are on a low talkplan and spend under £20 a month they will let you disconnect or not offer a huge reduction on the handset as they will not get this back. I see many 'low spenders' who ask for free this 'n' that and they rarely get it.

Hello all,

I have been readinh with interest on others experience with Orange. I have 2 contracts with orange one is my wifes and a low tarrif and the other i pay over £70 a month. I spoke to Orange regarding an up grade from a 6310i and a P800, they quoted me silly prices and I said no deal and can you disconnect me i was passed to a helpful customer service agent( wished i got her number as orange havnt got many helpful agents!) I was offered a free upgrade to a 6600 and a P900, great i thought and the 6600 arrived 2 days later, 3 months has gone and many phone calls to orange and im still waiting for a P900. I have been told many reasons from Software problems, litigation, out of stock and now discontinued. How many of you on this board have received a p900 from Orange this year and is any one still waiting?

Discontinued?
Strange how it's still listed on the Orange website as 'being out of stock' - the last time they had a break in offering the P900 they removed it completely... weird!

As said previously... had mine about a month now - had to wait just over 3 weeks for it to come back into stock from placing the order till when it arrived (and a very frustrating 3 weeks it was too! )

Just to let you know i got a txt from orange saying the p900 was back in stock, ( been waiting for 2 months)

Phoned up orange upgrades, ( 0800 number) and confirmed things and should expect my p900 tuesday. Lady confirmed what comes in the box and that they were sorry for the delay.( no real explanation)

Said that is wasnt listed as limited stock so guess they might have a few.
